Over the last decade milk has become a bit controversial. Some people say it’s a necessary and nutritious food, vital for healthy bones, but others say it can cause cancer and lead to an early death.

Milk. White Poison or Healthy Drink?

So who is right? And why are we drinking it anyway?

    1. @Toori Baba It’s weird the posting is from January 26 and all comments are from 2 months ago including the one (1st one) from the channel.

  1. I can’t imagine one day when Kurzgesagt team replaced the narrator. His voice is so important on Kurzgesagt’s videos.

    1. and who would have thought that the nuke actually would be the smaller problem

    1. @Debshree Basu
I’d rather torture animals than torture titties. Soy milk causes breast cancer.

    2. @16thnote YT
Some cancer treatments require radiation therapy. We’ve known for a long time that radiation causes cancer. Some cancers kill other cancers. But sometimes a second cancer occurs and it’s unclear why a second cancer pops up. We don’t know if having cancer can directly cause other cancers.

  2. Kurzgesagt: Is it poison?
    Me: *sips milk while watching*
    Me:

(Edit: Oh my gosh, why are there so many likes?! Thanks :3.)

    1. @darth tator in argentina we eat cuagulated blood, but im not sure if is healthy. What i can say is that is delicious and we call it morcilla

  3. whoever came up with the guy shopping for milk wearing a “moo-tang” shirt deserves a raise. made me laugh way too much

    1. tamia ʕ•́ᴥ•̀ʔっ does this mean non-fat free (1%-whole) does not cause acne? If so, do you have a source?

    1. @Ali Mo my point is that cows milk is okay for some people and for some isn’t at all …and doesn’t matter if you drink big amount or not ….for people with food intolerance can be harmfull other not at all….and of course you can drink big amounts and still your body will not react…the point is to drink what your body actually wants not what you want.

    2. you forgot the z in kurzgesagt. and i think it is good for making your bones strong so that they can be punished more and take less permanent damage.

  4. Shout out to anyone else who caught the “Moo-Tang” sweater on mfer lookin through produce… Lol

    1. @Øblivion At that point that would be the least of their worries. They’d eat whatever they would find

    1. sam belle that’s not true at all… you think after they stop giving milk they an retire in the grass fields?

    2. He never mentioned the hormones and not just the added ones(growth)
But the estrogen from a cow…..?
And especially cortisol from the very stressful lifes they endure. Wanna lower your immune system during pandemics up your cortisol levels. Wanna block your testosterone and just become fat and unhealthy Up your cortisol levels…….
      drink milk 😁👍🏼 smh
And while you’re at it eat lots of other processed fats and oils we can really get that cortisol humming and we can all be fat unable and sick.

  5. “We’re the only animals that drinks the milk from another animal”
    – The only animal that drives a car

    1. Slaughterhouses, or abattoirs, are the buildings where the animals are killed. No matter how nice the conditions a farmed animal was kept in, they will still be sent to a slaughterhouse. If by ‘we don’t have slaughterhouses’, you mean ‘we don’t have intensive/factory farming’, that isn’t true either. The vast majority of animal products in Australia, and the world as a whole, come from factory farms.

    2. That would be nice but a lot of Australias land mass isn’t populated by humans so they have an abundance of space left
